i've had the same variation of hair for around...hmm 4 or 5 years? it's awful. i'm so bored.
i ripped my extensions out about a month ago and my hairs longer than it has been in a long time. i also cut my bangs straight across but it still hasnt satisfied my need to switch things up.

I live in Hawaii and unfortunately we don't have a Sally's Beauty Supply store here. Are there any other stores that would carry the same things as Sally's? I don't know if we even have any beauty supply stores in Hawaii. If not then I guess my only option is ordering online.

Hey mrh-ers!
So I posted about a week ago now?? About dying my hair light brown (back to my natural colour) but I wanted my fringe a different colour.
Ive changed my mind again haha. Im doing the same, just minus the coloured fringe.
I have a question for you all, though! Hopefully you can help me.
So I have red hair. How would I go about removing the red, so I can dye it a light ash-y brown?? I want ALL red colouring gone. I was going to go to the hairdressers, but they cost a fortune, plus also they are all closed for the next couple of weeks (christmas, new year.)
So how would I go about this?? I live in australia so we have different products here... and I could buy online but I would prefer if I could just dye it without having to buy online.

It's me again...I had planned on getting my hair cut today, however my stylist had to pick up her son so it's happening tomorrow instead. So I'm making another post with some of the ideas I have and did not put up earlier since I was in a bit of a hurry this morning. I have naturally dark hair. My hair has been dyed at least 30 times the past 3 years and it was struggling for a while, but now it's in the best condition it's ever been. I haven't touched it with any sort of chemical since September of this year. My roots are now grown in almost 2 inches and starting a new year and a new job, I want a change. Unfortunately, the change that I want is far too drastic and I don't want it to be done overnight.
I have had my hair red before. Red as in Amy Adams and Marcia Cross red, and I liked it as did everyone who came in contact with me. So that color, with a few light blonde highlights scattered around is my goal.
So having dark hair, how would I go about gradually achieving this? I was thinking multiple heavy auburn highlight appointments, and then a final all over color with highlights. Does anyone agree or have any other ways of going about this? Thank you so much in advance.

I made this post just over a week ago. It's growing on me, but I'm still a little :/ about it. I just came across somebody getting rid of this hair dye, and I was thinking about getting it:
L = Beyond the Zone bubble head pink dye
R = Jazing Fushcia dye
I'm a bartender. I can really do whatever I want with my hair.
What do you think? Should I try adding a little in? Maybe break up the huge chunk of blonde in the front? Cover the blonde pieces all together? If you think I should go for adding some in, which of the two bottles should I use? Or do you think it'd look stupid and I should just leave it as it is??

i have dark hair with red highlights, and i want it to be a brighter red. i'm not sure about the process of bleaching at a salon to get it bright red, so if someone could explain that it would be awesome.

Hello out there.
I'm getting my hair cut at around 6pm tonight (pacific) and am looking for some help.

I know I post here a lot lately, but I really don't know what to do to my hair! Cut it, grow it out... I can't decide and I love opinions. I've had it long before, last year, then around May decided to chop it all off! Not a great decision. I didn't like it at all. It was about chin length. I have maybe one picture from that time, cause I didn't like it. When it got a little passed my chin, I liked it more. But I also miss my long hair, that was the first time I'd had it since I was about ten years old.

So I was just wondering if there's a certain way you should get your haircut (certain type of layers, etc) if you want to be able to put in some hot rollers and give yourself some victory rolls and whatnot? Like, is there a cut that'll help rather than hinder your chances of it actually turning out like that, if you know what I mean.

This is my hair at this very moment: 
I'm sorry I look so terrrible, ignore that. It's reddish, but very faded, a little less than right at my shoulders, but looks a lot shorter because I always curl it. My original cut was a Tegan and Sara look, a little mullet-ish. I enjoyed it at first, but now that it's growing out, I feel like it looks weird with the front being shorter than the back. I want to grow my hair out, so I'm not really looking to cut much of it, but a couple ideas wouldn't hurt. I'm mainly looking for styling ideas, if anyone has any. I don't have any pictures of it straightened, as I never do that anymore, so I apologize for that. I really like this style: 
and I feel like my hair is ALMOST long enough in the front to do it, but that takes a lot off in the back.
ALSO, I'm looking for something to do with my color. I probably can't pull of blond, but I really want to. Here's a better picture of my skin tone:
That's when I had brown hair, after bleaching the front part. Now it's like that, but a little more red. I really love the chocolate brown color of the last picture I posted, but I can't decide on what I want to do. NOW, for my questions: 1. Should I just go ahead and get the a-line? Would it look okay on me? Maybe something else?
2. Color ideas? What would look best? I don't know that I could do blond, but tell me what you think, and if you know any specific color names/brands (of any shade, browns, reds, blondes, whatever)!

so i've been growing out my hair since february and i decided that i need change because it's too long for it's own good. it's about waist length right now and i'm planning on cutting about 4, maybe 5 inches off so that it's still somewhat long but still noticeably shorter. i was thinking something choppy all over? because my hair is kinda thick and drastic/edgy as well. i want to play with different lengths so that it's part short/long. but, if you guys have any suggestions, do tell. =)
